distant light in night sky moving very irregularly

First sorry no pictures and so late but as I was sitting on bench in Pardee Seawall mini park overlooking water, I seen a light high up in sky that was moving very irregularly. It would be still for a moment then move rather quickly but over a short distance one way then stop again and move very slowly in straight line then make a sharp 90 degree turn on dime and move very quickly in different direction. I think the time might have been about 10:30 pm but not sure. It was definitely the night before father's day (Saturday night June 15, 2013). Tweed Airport is within a mile or so from this area and planes fly through this patch of sky all the time so maybe a record could be made of unusual radars that night.
