round hectagonal object blue orange red lights

Driving southbound 53 hwy, 75 miles hour. This object appeared as floating. This object floated next to car on passenger side. Hovered over half of my car for approx, 3-4 seconds.. completely silent. Red, orange, blue lights *not blinking* The inside of my car lit up a dim purple for a second or 2. The object then floated away behind my car slowly and vanished,. leaving the whole sky behind us colored pink and orange.It looked almost like lighting *or the sunset*
