Bright Gold Light seen in Oregon, multiple witness

Saw a bright gold light moving in a fast zigzag pattern towards us after we waved at it and told it it could come to our backyard, whooshing noise upon approach and silence when it stopped. It moved slightly to the right after stopping for a minute, no noise. Stayed in that position for a few minutes, flashing lights in what looked like a triangular configuration, such as a jet getting ready to take off, three distinct lights, all gold. Then it quickly faded as if "taking off". One other witness, both sober.
