Redish golden lights in a triangle pattern

Golden lights with a redish tint in a triangular pattern (3). Driving home on rt. 23 saw the lights above the Wantage Municipal building. They looked as if they were mounted on a tower. (there is no tower there) My wife and I slowed and the car in front of us pulled over on Rt. 23. We continued to our street About another 100 yards and turned right. We then saw another 12 or so lights EXACTLY the same size, shape, color, and intensity. We were stopped now and rolled down our windows, no sound.
They moved from the west to the east very slowly then stopped. They began to move and we decided to proceed to our home just up the hill on the right facing the ridge the lights were flying over. Being high on the hill we thought we would have a better vantage point since we can see the entire sky from there. When we arrived we quickly exited the car and the lights were gone. Wanting to tell someone about what we just saw I called my sister who lives 2 houses away closer to the Municipal building and Rt. 23. when she answered the phone she said " your not going to believe what I just saw. She described to a tee what we had just witnessed. She call to her son who was upstairs at the time and by the time he had come down they were gone. We had no answers as to what it could have possibly been. The following day (Sun) My wife and I were on our way to church and saw a military helicopter flying over the Municipal building moving in the exact opposite direction but along the same route as the lights. In all the years I've lived there I have never seen a military aircraft fly by my house. Not to say they haven't but I have never seen one. My wife and I are both professional people, she is a licensed physiologist and I am the C.E.O. of a manufacturing firm in Passaic, NJ.
