The object I saw appeared as a somewhat bright, purple-ish white light which was similar to a falling star at the beginning, but started at a lower point in the sky than you would normally begin seeing a falling star. The object then became larger as it descended behind the Shell gas station on M-20 and Meridian roads. When it came near to land, the light just suddenly disappeared.
