Fiery object flying near Lombard, IL

I was playing in a baseball game in Lombard, IL when I noticed a light orange colored light flying from the southwest during a mound visit/pitching change. Looked somewhat like an airplane light at first from afar and was flying northeast, then changed direction and headed to the west. As the plane grew nearer it looked as if it was a flare or flying ball of fire. All took place in about ten to fifteen seconds. Not sure if anyone else saw it.
