bright colored objects seen in Simi Valley, CA

We went outside about 10 min after midnight. We saw two objects slowing moving south aobut 2,000 to 4,000 feet elevation, maybe 1/2 mile away or so. I got my 10 power binoculars and was starteled to see objects that were red in a circular center and a orange color arount that. The colors moved slightly like it was plazma. This was not paint of really well defined. The objects changed course slowley moving toward us, and at times stopped. They were much too slow for an airplace and they were silent. They were not a aircraft, helicopter, UAV or baloon. We never saw more than two at a time as one would disappear and another would appear! Total 5 objects.
