Strange crafts seen over Superstition Mountains

Large bright light appeared hovering over the mountain. The craft at one time seemingly emitted beams of light. Smaller multicolored objects appeared to be exiting outer rim. Large object pulsed and vanished lacking steady intervals of time. Small objects had red, green and blue rotating lights and appeared to be communicating with large craft using colored light sequences. . Approx 45 minutes later all activity ceased. Many times I have watched the night skies over this mountain seeing what to me would be unusual. However not once have I seen an event such as this.
