Three triangular in diagonal formation

Three triangular shaped UFOs hovering in diagonal formation above the southeast sky over Mount Vernon Mo. They seemed to be spinning. All white lights underneath. The brightest light at top of triangular shape almost seemed to protrude in and out of object... One was fairly close the next one further away and the next even further up, in perfect diagonal line from each other... Stayed in the sky throughout morning into daylight hours. I watched then with binoculars until around 0800... They were not there the following night until approx 0300.
