cigar shaped ufo seen in camborne..

Myself and around six friends witnessed a very large object hovering above us whilst mucking around on a building site of school that was being constructed in our area, one of my friends shouted out what the hell is that and i looked up and saw this huge object floating silently above us, i don't know how long it had been there for. It was a huge cigar shaped object with a tower at either end, if you can imagine the rough shape of a chinook helicopter only much larger with a row windows or lights running around the top of each tower, it was dead silent and it was so close to us i joked that i could probably fire a stone at it with my catapult. we observed the object at very close range for around 45 mins to an hour, it just hovered over head and moved over the road about 100mtrs to camborne school for some time then back over the building site and hovered over the charltons farm house a 300mtrs or so in the other direction for a short while then eventually tilted to one side and silently drifted off. we all observed this object in stunned amazement along with a few local residents who watched from there gardens and doorsteps. One thing that has always disturbed me slightly is that we could make out what appeared to be figures like silhouettes moving around in what appeared to be the windows at the top of the towers. My friends and i hardly ever spoke of this again i didn't want to believe it, we were all in our final year of school at the time and feared ridicule, but after all these years not a day goes by that i don't think about that evening.
