Red light and a circular shaped object following

I was walking west along the chief peguis trail between gateway and lagimodiere around 11:00 pm. To the north west there were two red lights. They where not flickering and didn't appear to move apart from each other for a couple minutes. One flickered out and the other started moving south. I could see it pass over a small puff of cloud and continued to pass almost over head. I thought maybe it could be the space station or satellite but it was red and was moving faster than I would expect. It took maybe 30 seconds to a minute to pass over head and than I noticed a perfectly circular shape following it just back and to the west. It was at least 10 of the red objects in width if not larger. It appear to be white or greyish and didn’t seem to have any lights. It took another 15 to 30 seconds before they where gone behind some houses. The circular thing seemed to be a little fussy, I don't know if that was because it was so high but it was a very clear night. Freaked me out so much I called my brother so I know it was before 11:05. The red lights where defiantly odd but the object following it is the only reason I'm reporting this.
