Unadentifiend flying object. Large, cicular.

We, went out to shoot fireworks for the New Year.. I was done, returned to house. My husband started yelling "Ava, Ava, come out quick." I did and saw what he was pointing at. A large blood orange circular object with rod type objects lots of them, all had lights on end. It was not any type of plane, jet, balloon, that we'd ever seen before.
from a side view, it looked like a snow flake. If u have ever seen a true harvest moon, it looked like that, close yet you know it isn't. Hovered, made no noise. stayed still for approx. 3 min. then turned quickly and we lost it in a dense cloud bank . No other aircraft in the sky.
