Lighting object observed in Staten Island NY

This is a photo captured at 8:19 from Staten Island, NY. It started out as a group almost in a circular formation observed from the south side heading north and while heading north began to spread out. The colors of the objects which are not noticeable due to cellular camaras consisted of red, purple, blue, green, and white. This was observed by 5 individuals which all saw the formation, numerous photos were taken but the only one that caught the the objects was this one, notice the almost straight lined formation and to the far left you see clearly two objects one purple and the other white which came from behind the rest of the formation almost as if they were playing catch up. This is the photo that was caught.
