My daughter came running to get me appx. 8:45 pm last night, May the 13th 2013. She was very excited and scared telling me about a large "spaceship" with yellow lights. I didn't think much of it, and in fact i even brushed it off, as i was watching a movie, she snuggled up to me, obviously frightened and continued to talk of how it was big and had a black underside when it flew over the house. I tryed to calm her with im sure it was a plane? a b12? a ... and i finally ran out of suggestions.
This morning she woke just as sure as she was last night and still excited about what she saw, so I started to listen. If any of you are parents you will know that young children, she's 5, dont hang on to ideas very long, unless it really impressed them, so i realized that she believed what she saw, if nothing else.
I went to the window she saw it in and got the particulars, it was round, with yellow lights surrounding it, it was flying low enough or was large enough for it to cover a large swath of the window. Im not very good at guessing size relative to height but from her description, huge wouldn't cover it. It was totally silent, and the underside was black. It was flying in a NE to SW ish direction and moving smoothly and slowly. I believe her, and i know my child, she didn't make this up, so if anyone saw anything similar I would love to get your take on it.
Thanks.
