Perfectly round, bright orange, looked like liquid

Fixing a flat tire very late (2:30am) after an evening with friends. Stuck on the side of a parkway, noticed a bright reflection on the paint of my car. Looked up. Saw a very bright, but not painful to look at, orange "orb" moving from west to east just above the tree line at a very slow speed. My Initial thought was a balloon with a candle inside. It traveled from one side of the highway to the other, then it made a perfect 90 degree turn toward the south (towards my location) it followed the tree line to perpendicular of my position across the highway. It stopped, then another 90 Turn towards me. I backed away from my car and into the shadows of the trees on the roadside. It stopped again and went backwards for a few seconds away from me to it's original location right above the trees. Then it took off at what I could only describe as warp speed. It was perfectly round, distance and size were difficult to judge due to lack of markings or background. My best guess, is between 3-15 feet in diameter.The "surface" of the object seemed to be a living liquid, like plasma. It was absolutely silent. It never changed altitude (except for its departure) It's movement towards me convinced me I was not very well hidden in the shadows of the trees...it saw me looking at it. The whole sighting took around a minute, maybe less. I never took my eyes off it, except to very deliberately rub my eyes to make sure I was really seeing this. The thought of taking a cell phone pic never occurred to me...I did not want to take my eyes off of it. After it left, I looked at my watch. Based upon the time of my tire going flat, I know that no time lapse happened (confident I was not "invited" aboard) I remember saying out loud to myself, "holy ####, what did I just see?" Then "holy #### what just saw me?" I have always believed that they are out there, the math speaks for itself. I finally saw one! The experience left me with a feeling of complete elation and revelation. It was a life changing experience, and the more I think about it, the more it makes me put my day to day stress into a completely new perspective. I just wish I could speak about it to everyone I meet. That is the only part that bothers me. It was cool!
