Light Formation North of Baton Rouge

Just saws a set of lights floating in the sky to the north of my house. My mom saw them first as she was bringing trash out to the can and call me out. When i saw them they were red, very bright against the sky, about 20 degrees above the horizon and shaped in a precise formation that made me immediately say out loud, "Why are they in the shape of the Big Dipper?!?". They slowly moved on a slight eastern track and moved into a triangular formation, then most of the lights faded quickly, all but one, that remain for a few more seconds, fading in and out before finally disappearing.
