V shaped light formation seen in Derby Ks

Single white light first appeared in the south sky which at first glance thought was a shooting star but it was traveling at a slow speed. As it moved horizontally to the north, it crossed my path and appeared to shimmer which gave the silhouette of a large object. As it continued north, an instant after it crossed my path it produced 5 or 6 white lights shaped in a V pattern and continued on the same north/northwest direction before it disappeared behind the tree line. Total time of observance was 15-20 seconds
