giant bright white light hovering above treeline

saw giant light in sky on way home from work.got home 10 minutes later,my girlfriend said she locked doors because she saw beaming lights outside behind house in the woods.told her i saw a giant light in the sky towards this area.(there is nothing but 500 acres behind our house.nobody was back there,that i do know for sure.)2 days later we asked people next door if they knew of these lights.he said funny you should mention that,i was talking to a guy who lives a couple of miles behind us and he said "we saw aliens in the field here the other night"!thats to much of a coincidence to over look!
