Orange coloured Illuminated Diamond Shaped objects

First object seen moving slowly from West to East.Completely illuminated with an orange aura,no sound,no navigation lights displayed.On approach to my direction,and as it passed over head,I saw soft pulsating lights,all of which then extinquished.I then saw a similar second object appear in the distance on the same course as the first,about a minute behind .By this time my wife brought out my binoculars. As i focused on this object I could see underneath that the object had numerous pulsating circles of soft orange coloured lights, within the diamond shape.My best way of describing them is that they looked like doughnuts.Before this object passed overhead,another appeared in the distance.Still on the same course with the same orange aura,at the same slow speed.This object appeared to slow down and move to the right when some distance away.Another object then came into view,and appeared to be catching up with the previous one and eventually overtook it.This previous object then appeared to stop and began to slowly move vertically towards the ground,and then disappeared from my sight. The overtaking object then,having passed my location like the others before extinguished all it's Illumination.No other objects appeared after that.
