Bright light moving in the sky above Méribel

Clear night sky, saw a bright light high in space moving at a similar pace to a satellite. As I stopped to inspect it the light stopped moving for a few seconds. It then flew to the other side of my sight, from right to left at an incredible speed then stopped again. It then moved in zig zag patterns up and down. Very precise, sharp movements. It continued to do this until it disappeared bend the view of Mount Saulire. I was stuck to the spot in the car park I was in, goosebumps and hairs standing on end. This could have only been a light emitted by some sort of advanced technology unknown to the general public.
