Wife woke me up when she was staring out large non-curtained window from bed. It was 4 am. A clear moon lit night..Plane-like large object coming straight down and then hovering over lake about 400 yards away to the north east and only 500 feet in the air. I got up and took small binoculars from window sill and watched it for about a minute. We both could not believe what we were looking at. It had 10 or more lights non flashing. Rectangular shape about the size of a school bus. With binoculars the larger lights appeared as lit windows on the side with other lights on outside. The craft teetered slightly as it hovered in place. It was moonlit night and I discerned a slight curvature top and bottom which was darker and the ends were rounded. I ran down two flight of stairs to basement to get my camera and saw it through the patio windows through the trees so ran backupstairs to bedroom window to try to catch it on video or camera.
Different than many helicopters we've observed over the lake in summertime, there was no sound through window. It moved very slowly toward the north behind trees in our back and continued down the lake seemingly just above the hill on the opposite side of the lake. Have seen no news of other people observing same. I got very poor video last 1 to 2 seconds while moved off it passed on other side of trees. We were awake for two hours lying in bed staring out the window. My wife fearful it would return and myself hoping it would so I could get a picture or video that was definitive and clear.
I wish the camera had been in the bedroom because I lost 30 seconds running downstairs to get it. My wife had been watching it the entire time.Scared to death I might add.
Most amazing thing I have witnessed to date. Someone owns an amazing craft!
