Four orange lights over Redcliffe, Queensland, Aus

Three of us were out in my boat fishing when we noticed 4 very bright orange lights moving across the sky in a snake formation one behind the other. Coming from the north and heading to the south. They appeared to be a very long way up. After several minutes the first light started to disappear. The lights appeared to be leaving our atmosphere. As each one left they went from bright orange to a very faint blinking light then you could not see them anymore. The last light took a lot longer to leave then the others. We took some video footage of these lights but they were to far away to make anything from the pictures. The video just shows the lights.
