Object hovering and disappeared and comes back

A few days ago on May 1st, I was driving home and as usual​I look at the sky just checking out things. As I get about 3 blocks from my home I see these lights from an object hovering too close to be an airplane or helicopter but to make sure I wasn't seeing things I kept watching. The more I watched the more I seen it was moving closer and seemed to be following me. Knowing I was the only vehicle in sight I thought I would make a turn so that I was moving in a different direction so I wasn't driving towards it because it could have been my eyes playing tricks on me. Well it started moving the same way I turned....so I called my friend quick and told him this thing is low in the sky and has 3 lights and I needed​ him to go outside to look for it. Well he couldn't see it at that time. I said it seems to be getting closer and I can tell it isn't our aircrafts. I stayed on the phone and afraid to get out because as I watched I told him it moved behind the trees but it was just being still and as I stated it would wobble a little bit and then then light changed...the 2 on the end(there was one in the center) would move towards the center, in and out...then they would get bright and low beam. Soni ran in the house because when they brighten it came towards me. I stayed in for a few mins before I told him I would try to pick him up so he could see it. I told him we need to look for it. Well it wasn't in sight leaving my house but I then saw it as I came to his house (5mins away). We then proceeded towards then object tho it had had gone out further. I asked if he seen what I saw. We had a brief discussion trying to place what it was then it stopped. The object started getting big then small it seemed as it's lights did as before when I seen it. I said I'm taking pics or videos. Which I failed to mention did not work before when I was going in my house..so I tried the 1st time it didn't work. He was tripping and so was I. I then turned my vid on and captured what I could. I caught the one we seen and when we thought it disappeared another came behind us just as low as the 1st I had seen when I was alone. I turned my car around so I could see both areas and the Mone came back while the new one was bright and low. They seemed to be communicating before the 1st one completely vanished. The other stayed until daylight. Slowly it got higher and higher in the sky until it looked like a star. When I came back out that morning it too was gone. I looked at the pics and if the object was hovering in a still position then it shouldn't have changed in my pics. I didn't believe him when he said he seen it totally changing shapes but I captured it. Excuse my excitement and language.
