bright object moving around moon then vanishing

bright object zigzagging around moon, going any which way it wanted, definitely not an air plane, or toy of some sort. just one. too far in the sky to be anything we control, super fast, the moon had a ring around it, probably from the pollution, called my co-worker outside with me to see it, he agreed he saw it too, went inside came out 5 seconds later, and it was gone, no where in sight.
