circular object over I 80 just outside of Reno Nev

As me and my wife drove home we saw a low flying aircraft flying in at a fairly fast speed. We were heading back to Reno, going west bound on interstate 80, the craft was going east bound. This craft had a white light on it's side and a blue light that almost seemed to move along the craft and was circular in shape.

As our car came upon this craft, we noticed it had greatly slowed it's speed and was almost observing the traffic. There was no sound and the craft was about the size of a jet liner. This craft was about 200 yards above the road.

There was several cars and trucks on the road heading in both the east and west bound lanes. The weather was snowing and seemed to be bad for any regular aircraft to be flying, especially at night.
