Bright orange triangular object seen in Auburn, WA

It was late evening, sky was clear, about 50 degrees. I had just left my house. The bright orange triangular object was in the sky above rooftop level. It was coming westward from the n.e. It had red blinking lights , and appeared to follow me. I took a picture, ran to neighbors who saw it before it vanished. Event lasted about a minute. I live near an airport, am familiar with air traffic. This was not normal. It made no noise, and when it vanished, it slipped behind clouds that were not previously there. It did not reappear.
