Smalll globes of light in night sky

Not certain about date or time but was two years ago in the summer. Sitting on deck in the evening with my brother, sister, and friend. I live west of Houston in Harris County. I always watch the sky and saw a plane go by with flashing lights and the normal plane sounds. There were beautiful thick white clouds in the sky northwest of my house. I saw a star but not blinking or anything. It was round and lit. Looked yellow. It was very small. Suddenly it moved left then right. It would be still for awhile then move again. Then other small, yellow globes came out of the clouds. Lots of them. They started traveling south slowly. We all watched them until they disappeared. I've had this on my mine for a long time but did not know who to tell that would believe me.
