strange light in the sky seen in warwick

i was walking back home from the store and was star gazing while passing through the parking lot in the back of vets school. I looked toward the big dipper and noticed a bright what look kind of like a blueish light,I can only best desribe as looking like a really bright star except it moved as if it was going upward and then it was gone. the whole experience only lasted no more then 7 seconds but it seemed liked it continued to decrease in size till it was gone which is the reason i felt as if it was heading up
