Small, high-speed satellite-like object over Ohio

While sitting on our south facing deck, my wife and I saw a small, white lighted object traveling roughly NE over Fairborn, OH around 10 pm EST on 24 July 2014. At first, it looked like a fixed faint star until we realized it was moving. Object appeared to be high altitude and was traveling in a straight line. Its light was constant (not flashing/no other colors) and could have been reflected or emitted. Looked like a satellite or the ISS in orbit. Watched object for 2 or 3 minutes. It was a cool, clear, cloudless night. No sound or other effects. Location is near WPAFB Area A which has active flight traffic (but none apparent at that time).
