very big heavy flat object flying over our house

me and my 3 brothers and my mom was watching a world premier movie on TV we had an antenna i was the oldest of the 4 boys still in school somewhere in the mid 1970's maybe late 70's anyways my brother was watching an object out the picture window we lived in the country in a valley at 406 Chester hill road Chillicothe Ohio 45601 there are lots of woods in that area it is Daniel Boone area that is our school mascot anyways.and we noticed him not looking at the TV and we all gathered around him and looked out the window it got closer and bigger until here it come over the tree tops we all went out on the back porch it then as slow as could be went over our house it looked to big to be true with the engine noise not too loud going in and out and there was no wind blowing down upon us it looked like what you would see in a river like a barg that carried goods across a river we all stood on the porch looking at it as it come upon us and flew right over our house we all looked up i still remember the metal and rivets it had different colored lights and a big bright white light at the top it was so close and scared us we watched it go over the house and over the hill out of sight we all still to this day do not know what it was we told our dad when he got home and he laughed at us and did not and does not believe us i think.being it was a world premiere movie on that night no one else in the community or at school seen anything.it seems we are the only ones that seen this object.to this day i do not know what it was.it was so big and seemed impossible to go as slow as it did with no wind coming from it.i just wonder if anybody has reported anything on these lines or descriptions of this before.the internet did not exist then.am i crazy ? if so my entire family seen it are we insane or what ? did the government have anything like this at that time period ?
