bright disembodied light over Crawford County,MI

I was shoveling my driveway on Friday, December 13th (haha, Friday the 13th) when I took a break. I sat on the stairs to the porch for a moment, then looked up to see if I could see the stars. To my dismay, I couldn't; it was all cloudy. I returned to work and saw a dim light bouncing off the ground, and I thought it might have been the moon showing through the clouds, so naturally I looked up. That's when I saw the three bright lights-bright enough so that I could capture a picture of if on my phone (usually I can't get a good picture of distant lights on my phone), They appear to be flares, but they stayed in a triangular formation for about a minute and a half before they vanished; as though they were there at all. I'm not skeptical about aliens or UFO's,I've seen my share of strange lights in the sky, but this is the first time I was able to capture it. I live by a National Guard outpost, but I know that they don't get all high tech gear, especially not aircraft.
