Amber Colored Light Seen In Latimer, IA

My fiance, 2 of his friends, and myself were at my fiance's parents lake. We were watching the sky for UFO's and noticed an amber colored light in the southwest sky. It made its way towards us in a 10 minute period. In this 10 minute period the light managed to go so high that it would disappear (it did this multiple times). It would change its direction at any moment. The light hovered towards our direction until it was directly over us. The light began to come closer to us and the light got bigger. Then, it changed into a bright blue light. It was almost like it was a beam. The light changed back and it hovered away like nothing happened and disappeared into the sky. There was absolutely no noise coming from the object. I wasn't a believer until that night. Now I believe.
