Oval shaped UFO traveling through light beam

I was camping and in the middle
Of the night a white light beamed on my tent. Could have been
headlights or a flashlight, but the light was evenly distributed. Didn't think much of it and got out of the tent to use the bathroom. Across from my campsite 25, there was a contraption with three gold/tan lights that were slowly dimming down and back on. Still didn't think much of it. Then I went back in my tent and peeped
Out the window and saw a white light beam coming up from the other side of the mountain where the hiking trails are. Looked like a
Flashlight pointed out into space, but was
Very even and dim. I thought the streak of
Light was weird, it wasn't moving. I then saw what looked Iike an airplane because it had red and white lights, but if you looked
Closely, it was a row of the flashing lights that
Wrapped around an oval shaped craft. It was moving across the sky like an airplane until it reached the strip of light, then switched directions and went the same direction as the light. It head down the path of the light down passed the mountain that was separating us, headed to touch ground on earth.
