Was outside my back door at approx. 5:30AM and noticed an object in the NW sky. Not sure how far away - but maybe as high as a high plane. The object wasn't moving and so I kept watching it to see if maybe it really was moving. It was red with a yellow glow around it. Then I saw in succession, three smaller orbs leave the larger object - in the same fashion: an arch - and then they disappeared. The larger object disappeared soon after. Not sure if it disappeared because it went behind the patchy cloud cover.
