Over a month ago while trying to sleep while peering out my window I watched what I believed to be a plane fly over the anchorage area. I was raised by a pilot and an Alaskan, I have lived here most of my life and know we live in a very active bush pilot community. At first the sight was quite normal until the object came to a complete halt somewhere over what I believe would have been Eagle river/Eklutna area. I deduced that this may have been a helicopter, the only thing at that moment that contradicted that analysis was the velocity that this object was moving at. Still skeptical to anything out of the ordinary I continued to watch the object or light remain motionless. What originally brought me to look out the window while trying to sleep was the spectacular night sky with more stars than I have ever witnessed. With my head still on my pillow and with my eye in the sky, I continued watching. What compelled me to the unbelievable conclusion I am still somewhat obscure about is the sight of this object transitioning from the halt to almost what resembled a circle motion in the sky at a speed I knew not possible by anything I currently know about. Uncomforted by this sight I couldn't keep my self from looking away from this object. During the duration of this a friend of mine was staying with me and I felt obligated to show him to reassure myself I was not just going crazy. I continued to watch it in circle motions until it finally moved a great distance across the sky in an unreal amount of time. So unsettled I sat up against a wall motionless using the frame of my window to insure I wasn't just thinking a star was moving or something of that sort. After I concluded it was definitely unexplainable I went to wake my friend up. I brought him up to speed and showed him the object. Grumpy and quite apathetic to the situation he started to question this event himself and engaged with me in staying up and watching this. For a better looked we grabbed a rifle with a 3x9 scope and tried to get a better look. At this point we were certain something was nothing of the ordinary. After countless looks through the scopes we swore the object emitting the light was accompanied by two more object that had no lights. They moved in perfect unison doing their circular motions here and there with incredible speed between the locations. I wouldn't want to gauge the distance or height just because I am no aviation expert. I just know we could see this object quite clearly when it moved closer. Me and him watched this until it left over the Chugach Mountain Range.
Now what enticed me to post this is that over the last month I have found this event happening almost every night if I take the time to watch when there are clear skies. Furthermore, the fact that during the duration of these events I know someone else in Alaska has had to have seen the same thing. It's all I can fathom viewing the spectacle. All three objects haven't been evident everytime. I continue to find it in different areas of the sky somewhat dormant and unnoticed until it finally moves. Times have been between 02:30 and 06:00. It always is sitting somewhere just like a star.
