4' diameter light energy orb rolling along ground

I was 12 exiting convenience store saw light orb 15' away rolling along the pavement outside store in St Johns Road Ipswich. I ran to pavement to see where it went and orb seemed to have changed into a man walking away along the pavement in the direction the orb was travelling and about where the orb would be. He was wearing black clothes, trousers, coat, trilby hat about and I had not seen this man pass the store? I have never seen anything else like this - I knew it was not a normal event I ran back into store and asked if owner saw it too - they had not and because they laughed at me and I was a sensitive 12 year old - I have never mentioned it again. But, I have just seen a programme about men in black meetings and feel the event I experienced is linked - could this have been a transportation mode eg teleportation?
