triangle of three lights in a triangle shape

three stationary lights ,flashing @ different times ,the lights moved right to left, left to right in a continuas motion the lights changed white, gree and, red,the lights were in a triangle formation and the distance between thee three lights never changed even when they eventualy moved of, im not sure if it was three different craft,or just one MASSIVE triagle, but the distance between the lights never changed which leads me to believe it was one craft .they where in the sky for at least an hour and only left when a helicopter showed up??
