Weardale light UFO-aircraft Incident

I went outside to stargaze & looked above the southern horizon & saw a yellow-white light brighter than Venus moving from West to East at approx 11.35 pm, which wasn’t a plane or meteor as it was both completely silent & moving too slowly. I observed this light as it travelled east above the southern horizon for at least 3 minutes until it faded from sight & estimate it was at least 25 miles high. I also noticed an airliner travelling north to Newcastle airport at about 3 miles altitude, below the light about halfway through the observation. On critical reflection the object could either have been a very bright satellite or the ISS as it had about the same brightness level as both these objects
