Intensely bright ball moving extremely fast

When I left home to travel to work in Brisbane at 2:30 am I drove to the end of zabels North road where it meets lowood minden road. As I turned the corner onto lowood minden Rd I noticed an extremely bright light flickering above the near by hills in minden just off the Warrego highway, it was very high in the sky when it suddenly dropped to just above the hills and stopped again suddenly, the object travelled between both points faster than any known human craft and had the ability to stop abruptly, by this point I was very frightened so I called my father who was also on his way to work he answered but seconds after my phone cut out, the object sat still for a few more seconds then all of a sudden shot back into the sky like a bullet and disappeared, after this I sped to work and told fellow workmates of my experience, no one believed me which is understandable but I know what I seen was definately real
